After stealing US$2.5 million in art, antiques and rugs from a mansion in an exclusive San Francisco neighbourhood, one of the suspected crooks attempted to sell some of the goods back to the owner, telling him he’d found them at a flea market. When the owner went to the market to check things out himself, he spotted a van containing more of his things and called police, who promptly arrested the thieves.
