The 15th annual Maclean's year-end poll, undertaken in partnership with CBC TV's The National, was conducted by Toronto-based The Strategic Counsel. It includes responses from 1,400 adult Canadians, selected randomly from all 10 provinces and interviewed by telephone between Nov. 13 and Nov. 22.
