Toby seemed to know what to do when his owner, Debbie Parkhurst of Maryland, choked on food. After Parkhurst tried without success to perform the Heimlich manoeuvre on herself, the golden retriever pushed her to the floor and jumped on her chest repeatedly with his front paws, dislodging the food.
