CONGRATULATIONS TO the people, mayor and council of Burnaby for its first-place ranking as Canada’s best-run city in Maclean's first annual survey of municipal governments (“Our best-(and worst-) run cities,” National, July 27). Burnaby is also the only place in Canada where all of its elected representatives, from school board and city council to members of the B.C. legislature and Parliament of Canada, are New Democrats.
