IF A “BEST FRIEND” is making our lives miserable, then it is not our best friend (“Canada’s biggest problem? America,” World, Oct. 12). We do need to make and negotiate adjustments to alleviate problems. But that does not mean we need to follow its foreign policies in lockstep.
