I vividly recall reading your four issues in 1998 on the subject of rape in the military and am appalled so little has been done to help protect women against the monsters among us (“A war with no end in sight,” National, May 5). Let’s hope Canada will care more after your terrific article, “Our military’s disgrace” (National, May 5), which is the best piece of journalism I’ve seen in decades.
