UNIVERSITY RANKINGS Student Body

The quality and dedication of students have an enormous impact on the learning environment. Maclean's takes two measures of entering grades, and calculates the proportion of first-year students who return for a second year—fullor part-time. Other measures include the proportion of students graduating within a reasonable time, the success of the student body at winning national awards, and the university’s national and international drawing power.

AVERAGE ENTERING GRADE

Students are enriched by the calibre of their peers. Here are the average final-year grades of first-year students entering from high school or Quebec’s CÉGEP system.
